Summer Enrichment Camp

The White Oak Foundation offers on an annual basis our Summer Enrichment Camp program to youths in our community. It is a highly engaging, academically enriched camp that promotes positive social interaction between youths. The Program increases the youths’ motivation to learn and launches vital self-esteem and life-long self-imaging skills needed by all to succeed.

The Program is a fun-filled 5-week program designed for children between the ages of 4 through 13 — that balances learning and fun activities.

The camp provides project based learning opportunities, weekly field trip experiences, and the use of technology and Stem activities to inspire and motivate students to success.

Our Highly skilled instructors engage camp participants daily in cross-curricular activities and lessons aligned with the North Carolina course of study for K-8th grade students (Common Core Standards). Areas of study include Reading, Writing, Math, and Science.

Real life opportunities to learn and apply critical thinking, communication, collaboration, problem solving and creativity are often provided through our local and community partnerships.

We partner with The United Way, Health Department, Cary Fire Department, dentists, Apex Police Department, physicians, Social Services and local businesses to provide the additional resources needed to support positive learning outcomes.
