2020 Scholarship Application Deadline Extension

College scholarship applications are currently being accepted for the 2020 academic year. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the White Oak Foundation is extending the deadline for receipt of completed applications from Friday, May 29th to 5:00 PM Monday, June 15, 2020.
The current plan is that Scholarship Awards will be presented at the Foundation’s 11th Annual Black & White Ball to be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Cary.
However, if the local “social distancing” directive remains in effect and there is any question of public safety, the Ball will be re-scheduled. A follow-up letter will be sent with updated information. In the event the Ball is cancelled, the 2020 scholarship awards will be personally distributed.
